Cars and stuff

HA HAH! I'm back! For a sec.

So let's try this blogging thing again.

Cuz I have such very important things to write about...like my car, for instance.

I was scarfing down a salad the other day (yeah, it does happen sometimes), in the parking lot at Barnes & Nobles (my second home) when I started contemplating the nature of cars...Take a look at the photo below - see that car across the way? No personality, no pizazz.

Now, take a look at my car - course, I only got the interior, but you can guess by how charmante that in itself is, well, that the exterior could only be stunning.

Note the piquant flavor the Mountain Dew bottle...
The insousiance of the crap I've got piled in the front seat.

And the pièce de résistance - oil cans piled in the back seat...ready to spring into action for any emergency! ha ha!

Why, I wouldn't trade my car, no, not even for an exceptionally fine bicycle, that's what! (now, one of those motorized scooters...that's another thing)

Party Duds

Ok, so, I'm sure you people have done this before...right? If you're honest? ha ha!

So, yeah, had a 60th anniversary to get to today and I couldn't wear jeans (had to actually get a bit dressed up, go figure!). Well, the only skirt I felt like wearing had been in the bottom of my dirty laundry bin for, well, quite a while.

No time to wash it - still had to get the "perfect" Hallmark card for the occasion.

So, what do you do in that situation?

You blast the offending article of clothing with as many different scented sprays as you can get your hands on! ha ha!

Hey, must've worked, people said I looked cute! ha ha!

Gizmo (AKA Little Man) - very tiny, very curious individual. Will watch you for HOURS as you do whatever it is you do - whether that be putting together bookshelves or painting your nails. Will greet you whenever you come home as if he hasn't seen you (or any other human) in decades, and has gotta be the cutest little bugger on the block.

So, this is Fletchy (officially Fletch). He's a pretty melancholy individual, prone to long periods of reflection, given to serious looks - and ever once in a while, when he gets excited, he'll try to bite your legs.

My Breakfast - though not a living and breathing entity, still a pretty important part of anyone's day! Ha ha!

A life less ordinary...(if only!)

Ok, so this is my first time blogging - we'll see if the experience becomes addicting!

I actually stayed up past my bedtime (9 pm. Yes it is sad), to set this thing up!

BEHOLD!!

PrisonBreak is playing in the background, while Brittany (my roommate) tries to find a few songs she can play in her classroom that don't contain cusswords (proving more difficult than she guessed), Vanessa is texting me about finishing the Mediator series (which I told her to read ! ha ha! i am her book obi wan, she said so), Debbie is texting me about eating apple pancakes smothered in ice cream, walnuts and caramels while traveling north to Whidbey Island ( i texted back 'u suck' ha ha), gizmo (Britt's dog) is lazing about on the couch after a very tramatic experience earlier this evening involving a tick, a lot of screaming, Brittany's ex-boyfriend, a vacuum cleaner, and some wine! ha ha! I'm just sitting here feeling the fat cells from my double Heath blizzard adhering themselves to my thighs...

TO DO!!!!

Check out my community college for dance classes....
Actually get out to jog the, ahem, "jogging route" I figured out....
Create the worlds most yummiest cupcake!

One of my favorite things:

My Cotton Candy Smencil! ha ha! Seriously, one whiff is better than a bon-bon, and I don't say that lightly!
